Naming conventions, interacting with Dropbox

Happy New Year!
I’m experimenting with Almond, and like the concept.
I’m trying to use Almond to interact with my Dropbox account - “notify me when … directory changes” etc.
I keep getting the message "Sorry, I cannot find any Unix Path matching xxxx.
(where xxxx is the directory name.)

I’m using Windows 10.
Thanks in advance,
Gordon.

Hey @gbossley,

Welcome to the forum!

That looks like a bug in Almond. What version of Almond are you testing, 1.8 or 1.99? Is it cloud (almond.stanford.edu) or server?
If it’s 1.99 or newer, I would suggest filing an issue in our issue tracker. If you don’t mind, it would also be very helpful to include the Almond logs when you try this command. You can find them in the terminal or docker logs if you use almond-server, and from the “Almond Status” page if you use almond-cloud (almond.stanford.edu/me/status or almond-dev.stanford.edu/me/status)

Hi Giovanni,

Thanks for your response. Please keep in mind I’m NOT A CODER, just a (barely) savvy end-user.

I’ve submitted a Github (had to create an account) issue, and attached log.

This error occurs via the (very fragile I think) Android App, and the web version I’ve been playing with.

Happy to help and contribute but don’t expect any rocket science from me!
Thanks,
Gordon.
