Planned migration of development infrastructure

Hi all,

There will be a planed downtime of our development infrastructure from 1:00 PM PST (9:00 PM Monday UTC) to 6:00 PM PST (2:00 AM Tuesday UTC). We will be migrating our development infrastructure including the database to a new Amazon account and kubeflow cluster. Specifically, almond-dev.stanford.edu and nlp-staging.almond.stanford.edu will not be available during this time. The production cluster and other almond.stanford.edu properties will be available. We will send out another announcement once the migration is completed. Feel free to reach out to us on the comments below if you have any questions.

The migration is pending a DNS change that needs to be performed by CS IT staff, so it will take a while, perhaps even until tomorrow.

While we are waiting for the DNS update, we have redirected almond-dev.stanford.edu to almond-dev.research.almond.stanford.edu . Other than that, the migration has completed. Please let us know if you see any issues. We will send another update once the DNS update has completed.

Another status update: the migration is complete and the new instance should be up and running as normal. Please let us know if you still encounter problems.

Heads up: because of DNS issues this week, going forward our development infrastructure will be hosted at dev.almond.stanford.edu. We will update URLs in our repositories.
