I’m new to Genie and I was getting “Genie - Edge” set up and testing out TTS. I tested the “say hello” command to make sure my speaker was working. I used the timer command to set a 1 min timer, which worked and played a beeping sound when it finished and announced that the timer was complete. I tried the “say hello” command again, but it caused the alarm/timer beeping sound to play before it said “hello.” This happened every time I used the "say command. It didn’t happen with any other command I tested.
I’ll avoid using “say” to test speakers for now, but I wanted to report this in the hopes it could get fixed. I can give more info about my installation if needed.
