Hi,
What is the terminal commands to install Genie on Ubuntu 20.04? is it similar to debian, and unfortunately that errors out on install - is there a workaround?
Thank you,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Which instructions are you following and what kind of errors do you get? Please share more details so we can help.
Hi,
I’m using these instructions:
wget https://almond-static.stanford.edu/releases/debian/bullseye/genie-client_0.1.0_amd64.deb
sudo apt install ./genie-client_0.1.0_amd64.deb
And I’m getting the issue on install that a library “glib” is the wrong version for ubuntu OS and that the install cannot complete. Now I know that ubuntu 20.04 is not bullseye based, but as a Debian OS flavor - is there a different installer to try?
Thank you,
Daniel
No, that deb is based on bullseye because the last version on which is based the raspberry pi os, the reference board for the genie client.
maybe you could try to build the client for ubuntu (and maybe share it back to the community)
